Stellar performance. AsiaPharm finishes FY04 with an excellent set of results. Net profit surged 68.7 per cent to RMB 71.8 million ($14.2 million) on the back of a 32.5 per cent growth in turnover. Turnover was in line with our expectation while net profit was 10 per cent higher than our estimated RMB 64.9 million.

Gross margin was boosted by 12 percentage points to 66.7 per cent. A dividend of US$0.004 per share was declared in FY04.
