AsiaPharm forms pact for Greater China

The Business TimesASIAPHARM Group, a specialty pharmaceutical group in China, announced yesterday that its wholly owned subsidiary AsiaPharm Investments has signed an alliance agreement with Napo Pharmaceuticals Inc. Under the agreement, AsiaPharm and Napo will combine resources and efforts to develop, market, sell and distribute pharmaceutical products in China, including Macau and Hong Kong, said AsiaPharm. Napo will grant AsiaPharm an exclusive licence for products derived from the substance crofelemer and that are used to treat diarrhoea, including infectious, paediatric and Aids-related forms. |
