AsiaPharm China unit in deal with Sochinaz

ASIAPHARM Group said its main subsidiary in China, Shandong Luye Pharmaceutical Co, has signed a cooperative agreement with Switzerland's Sochinaz SA. Under this agreement, Shandong Luye will help in the import drug licence application for MT103-1, manufactured by Sochinaz SA. In return, MT103-1 will be supplied exclusively to Shandong Luye upon approval of the product. MT103-1 is used mainly for neuro-anaesthetic purposes, and is a key ingredient for one of AsiaPharm's new drugs under development. It has been approved by the European Union and the US Food and Drug Administration.
