AsiaPharm posts 49% jump in Q3 earnings

SPECIALTY pharmaceutical group AsiaPharm posted a 48.9 per cent jump in third quarter net profit to 20 million yuan, on a 22.6 per cent growth in revenue to 84.7 million yuan. The rise in sales was largely due to three key products Lutingnuo, Maitongna and Nuosen. Basic earnings per share came to 0.1472 yuan, from 0.2323 yuan a year ago. The results bring the group's nine-month profit to 60 million yuan, a gain of 55.3 per cent, and revenue to 247.6 million yuan.
