Better drug sales boost Asiapharm net 31%

ASIAPHARM Group saw a 31 per cent jump in net profit for the March quarter to 20.5 million yuan (S$4.1 million). The group said the rise was due mainly to a net increase in sales as well as a reduction in its cost of sales from a change in its sales mix. Revenue grew 8.2 per cent to 76.6 million yuan, from higher sales of its pharmaceutical drugs.
