in 1962, BH Global Marine was incorporated in Singapore on 23 April
2004 under the Companies Act as a private limited company, under
the name of “BH Global Marine Pte. Ltd.”.We were converted
into a public limited company on 8 August 2005 and our name was
changed to “BH Global Marine Limited”. Our company is
listed on Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange and our shares started
to trade on 12th September 2005.
Business
We are a Singapore-based supplier of a comprehensive range of
marine electrical products to (i) ship chandlers, ship owners, ship
management companies and (ii) shipyard operators and ship repair
contractors. Our products comprise (1) Marine Electrical Equipment
and (2) Marine Consumables.
Marine Electrical Equipment
Marine Electrical Equipment include marine cables, marine lighting
equipment and accessories.
Marine cables are electrical cables or wirings meant for fixed
wiring installation on board marine vessels for power transmission
or instrumentation purposes.
Marine lighting equipment, when fitted with specified marine lamps,
provides vital 24-hour illumination for enclosed environments in
marine vessels and illumination needs during night time and bad
weather conditions. Marine lighting equipment are fabricated robustly
to withstand difficult operating conditions and heavy usage.
Marine Consumables
Marine Consumables include marine lamps and general marine consumable
products.
Marine lamps include incandescent, high intensity discharge, fluorescent
and halogen lamps, with bulbs or tubes of differing sizes and shapes.
Marine lamps are fitted into marine lighting equipment and such
lamps have a limited life span and burn out after a number of hours
of usage.
General marine consumable products include batteries, fuses, aerosol
contact cleaners, cleaning material for electrical products, insulation
and adhesive tapes and flashlights.
